Update as of 2/12/2014

Yesterday, I received word that:

1) Our travel visas are currently en route back to our house (these are special stamps/stickers in our passports that allows us to travel into China).

2) Our daughter's visa application has been dropped off at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou, China and will be ready by the 25th of February (this visa will allow her to enter the U.S. as a naturalized citizen).

3) Once that visa is completed, an Article 5 letter will be issued and that letter will be sent to an office in China (CCCWA) that handles all adoptions.  Once they receive this letter, they will issue travel clearances.

4) After these travel clearances are issued, we will request a Consulate appointment (court date) and officially make our travel plans.  Our agency estimates our travel clearances to be some time between March 4th to March 18th.

Whew!  Time is flying!  We still have a lot of things to do before we can go.  I'm a list maker so I better make my lists of lists.
